Valerian Root Tea for Sleep

Ingredients

  • Dried Valerian Root1 tsp
  • Hot Water1 cup

Instructions

  1. Place the dried valerian root in a tea infuser.
  2. Pour hot water over the root in a mug.
  3. Cover and let it steep for 10-15 minutes. It has a strong, earthy smell.
  4. Remove the infuser and drink about 30 minutes before bedtime.
  5. Do not use with alcohol or other sedatives. Consult a doctor before use.
