Ashwagandha Root Tincture for Stress

Ingredients

  • Dried Ashwagandha Root1 part
  • High-proof alcohol (e.g., vodka)5 parts

Instructions

  1. Fill a glass jar about one-third full with dried, cut ashwagandha root.
  2. Pour the alcohol over the root until the jar is full.
  3. Seal the jar tightly and store it in a cool, dark place for 4-6 weeks.
  4. Shake the jar daily to help with the extraction process.
  5. After the steeping period, strain the liquid through a cheesecloth into a dark glass dropper bottle.
  6. Take 1-2 droppers full in a little water, up to three times a day.
